Để khắc phục điểm này khi gặp các câu có after và before các em không cần dịch theo nghĩa các động từ trong bài làm gì mà cứ dịch đại là "ăn" và "uống" . Ta dịch thấy là : [COLOR=#0000ff]chúng tôi vừa mới ăn tối xong thì họ đến[/COLOR] => hành động [COLOR=#0000ff]ăn tối[/COLOR] hoàn tất trước nên dùng [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ hoàn thành[/COLOR], còn hành động kia xảy ra sau nên dùng [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ đơn[/COLOR]. nói chung các em lưu ý là : khi gặp những câu dạng này cũng không cần dịch nghĩa vì nhiều khi các em không biết nghĩa mà cứ ngồi đó cố gắng dịch hoài làm mất thời gian, trong khi chỉ cần lưu ý chữ [COLOR=#ff0000]just[/COLOR] là đủ biết hành động bên đó xảy ra trước, từ đó chia [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ hoàn thành[/COLOR]. Một điều nữa là : khi đã có [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ hoàn thành[/COLOR] thì nó luôn đi đôi với [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ đơn[/COLOR], cho nên động từ còn lại khỏi xem xét mà chia ngay [COLOR=#0000ff]quá khứ đơn[/COLOR]. Để khắc phục điểm này khi gặp các câu có after và before các em không cần dịch theo nghĩa các động từ trong bài làm gì mà cứ dịch đại là "ăn" và "uống" .
