With the commitment “to become a good citizen and harmoniously developed in the local community”, Toyota Motor Vietnam always tries to contribute positively to the Vietnamese society.
TMV has conveyed a desire for bright future and sustainable development in Vietnam in main fields: transportation, education and human resource development, cultural and sport development, environment protection, as well as charities. Up to now, TMV has contributed more than USD 1.2 billion to the State’s budget and dedicated more than USD 13 million to the society. We have non-stop efforts in researching, applying and investing environment-friendly technologies in the plant, together with our activities to raise staff awareness of environment protection.
Positively contributing to the development of Vietnamese automobile and supporting industry is always the premier target of TMV. Being the automobile manufacturer which has the highest localization rate in Vietnam, TMV also make efforts to invite successfully the spare parts manufacturers which belong to Toyota group investing in Vietnam as well as the pioneer in bringing stamping technology to Vietnam. Since July 2004, by taking the first-ever Toyota Spare parts Export Center in Vietnam into operation, TMV has opened a new period for the Vietnamese automobile industry – the period of Vietnam’s participation to the Toyota’s global production system.
