Reported speech.... mong mọi người góp ý cho em ạ

Cần chú ý lùi một thì ở động từ report, rất nhiều câu không đúng.

Các câu trên đêu không có động từ tường thuật, người ta chỉ cho động từ trong ngoặc và bắt buộc mình phải dùng theo. Bản thân ở đây thông thường ta sẽ đưa động từ trong ngoặc về quá khứ rồi bắt đầu các thủ tục thường lệ trong reported speech.
Nhưng em mới đọc tài liệu về reported speech có nói là: nếu như động từ tường thuật ở thì hiện tại thì động từ chính lẫn các chỉ định từ và trạng từ đều giữa nguyên. Chẳng hạn
Hoa says "I want to go home" ==> Hoa says she wants to go home
Quay trở lại các câu trên, ta thấy không có động từ tường thuật, chỉ cho động từ trong ngoặc, hơn nữa các động từ đó không ở dạng thì nào cả. Do đó ta có thể biến đổi động từ đó theo hai xu hướng:
- Một là ở hiện tại
- Hai là đưa động từ đó về quá khứ
Một lý luận khác rằng: các động từ trong ngoặc đó không phải là động từ tường thuật, do đó bắt buộc phải đưa về quá khứ

Ta có: Sau deny, suggest, giới từ là V-ing.
Ta chỉ xét các động từ sau các động từ và giới từ trên, những thứ còn lại ta tạm bỏ qua không xét đến.
Theo đề cho, các động từ đểu ở dạng quá khứ. Khi chuyển thành cấu gián tiếp với các động từ suggest và deny, ta có cần phải đổi thành having ...(verb)... không ạ?

Người ta thường không cần lùi thì khi câu đó diễn tả một sự thật hiển nhiên, ví dụ:


direct speech: “The sky is blue”
reported speech: She said that the sky is/was blue

Lý thuyết về động từ suggest, deny như em đưa ra là đúng. Tuy nhiên, cần xét về bản thân của những động từ này.

-> Alfred denies using my cassette player

em dùng denies (hiện tại) ở đây là có dụng ý gì? Hành động Alfred từ chối đã xảy ra chưa? Nếu dùng denies như vậy, có nghĩa là em đang muốn ám chỉ đó là một sự thật hiển nhiên. Nhưng em đang trần thuật lại một vấn đề thì nên nhấn mạnh vào việc hành động đó đã xảy ra rồi, như vậy việc dùng denies ở đây không hợp lý cho lắm, nên dùng nó ở thì quá khứ.

Em cứ làm theo lý thuyết thông thường: Lùi một thì so với thì của câu gốc. Những lý thuyết em đọc là lý thuyết nâng cao, em là học sinh cấp 3 không cần phải học những cái cao siêu làm gì.
