Cựa một tí là lão giảng giải, lên lớp. Những lũ học trò ngày nào đâu còn nghe lão dạy. Chỉ có những đứa con của lão chịu số phận làm học trò. Được cái thằng con trai đầu của lão là đứa hiền, nó chịu đựng ngồi im nghe. Nhưng ngặt nỗi, nó không có thời gian dành cho lão lên lớp khi đàn con của nó đang cần nó. Rồi lão đem những sự tích thời tu-huýt-tu-đế để dạy lũ cháu nội. Bọn trẻ rất ít khi rảnh để học những gì lão nói.
